These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by The Basque Way.

Scope and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, services and experiences offered by The Basque Way, including but not limited to:
Private guided tours
Multi-day itineraries
Premium transfers
Corporate events and seminars
Tailor-made travel planning
By confirming a booking, the client acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms and Conditions without reservation.
3.
Bookings, Quotes and Confirmation
All services are subject to availability at the time of booking.
A written quote is provided detailing the services, itinerary, duration and total price.
A booking is considered confirmed only once the required deposit has been received and written confirmation has been issued by The Basque Way.
Verbal agreements are not considered binding.
4.
Prices and Payment Terms
All prices are expressed in euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Payment methods accepted: bank transfer and credit card (Visa, MasterCard).
Standard payment terms for private tours:
50% deposit required upon booking confirmation
Balance due no later than 15 days before the service date
For last-minute bookings, full payment is required immediately
Any bank transfer fees are at the client’s expense.
5.
Cancellation Policy
Private Tours and Experiences
More than 15 days before the service date: full refund of amounts paid
Between 15 and 8 days before the service date: 50% refund
Less than 8 days before the service date: no refund
Exceptional Circumstances
In case of force majeure (flight cancellation, cruise ship unable to dock, extreme weather, etc.), The Basque Way may propose a reschedule or a credit for a future service, subject to availability.
6.
Modifications
Any modification requested after confirmation (dates, itinerary, number of participants) is subject to availability and may result in a price adjustment.
Significant changes may require a new quote and written approval.
7.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking
Ensure all participants are physically able to take part in the activities
Respect local laws, customs and safety instructions
Arrive on time at agreed meeting points
The Basque Way reserves the right to terminate a service if a participant’s behavior compromises safety or the quality of the experience, without refund.
8 .
Liability
The Basque Way acts as a local expert and service provider. While every effort is made to deliver services with care and professionalism, The Basque Way cannot be held liable for:
Weather conditions
Delays or cancellations caused by third parties
Accidents resulting from client negligence
Events beyond reasonable control
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned.

Insurance
Clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
Trip cancellation
Medical expenses
Personal liability
Loss or damage to personal belongings
The Basque Way does not provide personal travel insurance for clients.
10 .
Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data collected is used exclusively for booking management and service delivery.
The Basque Way complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Clients have the right to access, modify or request deletion of their personal data by contacting The Basque Way directly.

Intellectual Property
All content on the website www.thebasqueway.com, including text, images, logos and branding, is the exclusive property of The Basque Way and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, French courts with jurisdiction over the company’s registered office shall have exclusive authority.
